The Streetmaster solar LED street light has a large yet discrete, integrated 20w solar panel located on top of the shade. The battery and LEDs are concealed inside the white polycarbonate diffuser. Using highly efficient 2700lm Osram LEDs, the luminaire distributes an even 360° spread of light.
Installation is simple with no wiring. 4 stainless steel allen screws on the collar secure the head to a 76mm column or lamp post, new or existing installation. A single ON/OFF button on the rim of the light ensures a swift startup upon installation which then has an automatic function from then on (see below).
Super bright LED chips in daylight white (6000K) shine downwards and really emphasise the white colour of the polycarbonate diffuser. This is ideal for areas such as car parks and walkways or larger patio areas. Recommended mounting height for UK solar street lighting is 3-5m.
The Streetmaster Solar LED Street Light shape is designed to emit all light downwards, 360 degrees. This prevents light pollution. It has a more slimline appearance than other solar street lights such as the Olympia Max. Rated IP65, the durable, die-cast aluminium housing has a black finish to blend in with standard black poles. Paired with the UV-stop polycarbonate lamp cover, the Streetmaster will likely withstand vandalism and accidental damage in a wide range of public spaces.
With as little as 5 hours charge, this IP65 Solar Street Light will remain illuminated for up to 12 hours. It will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off again at dawn following a gradual dimming sequence. Starting at 100% brightness at dusk, the Streetmaster then dims to 80% after 1 hour, then 60%. After 4 hours it will dim to 40% and finally 20% after 5 hours until the end of the cycle. This again reduces light pollution at times when less light is required with fewer people around. At this point the Streetmaster is a low level security light.
The large single silicon solar panel and high capacity LiFePO4 Battery ensures optimum charging and power retention. In order to maintain maximum performance and efficiency, clean the panel monthly, removing all dirt and debris. Even in the dullest of weather, our solar street lights will still illuminate. The low level dimming sequence helps prolong illumination time in particularly poor weather conditions.
