Lighthouse Bollard Light – Professional Root Mount System – Green or Black

This professional and robust commercial standard bollard light has a Lighthouse head and a matte garden green or graphite black finish. This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is recommended for where extra security and permanence is important. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, these root mount bollards are extended in length so that at least 400mm can be securely concreted in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

A choice of height is available: 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also 3 styles of head to choose from: domed, pillar and flat top.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

The Lighthouse Bollard Light has a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head which enables an even all-round light dispersal around the bollard and adds protection to the bulb installed. Further protection is added internally by silver aluminium louvres which also add character to the bollard and act as anti-glare shields.

How Far Apart Should Bollards Be Mounted?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on one of our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
