Robotic lawnmower Installation
Installation can be done either by yourself or we can come and professionally install your new automatic mower for you. Installation can take anywhere between a 2-5 hours and for larger gardens it can take up to a day or more. For more complex lawns we would advise we look after the installation for you. Perimeter cables can be installed above ground, but look at lot better hidden and buried under the ground, so if you would like ‘invisible’ cables in your garden we would recommend installing it ourselves.

What to expect during Installation
Installation is a 5 step process:
Miimo operates within a boundary wire, installed around the perimeter of your lawn. Proper installation is key to the performance of your Miimo – which is why we provide full and professional dealer installation
2. Site Preparation
If necessary, your garden may need some minor landscaping changes to make it right for Miimo. For example, adding an outlet in an appropriate location for the docking station, or filling in holes in the lawn. If your grass is taller than 2 ½ inches, it will also need to be mowed to an appropriate height prior to installation.
We will install Miimo. This includes installing the docking station, guide wires and the boundary wire. The wire will be installed using a cable laying machine which buries the cable underground for a neater, professional finish.
Next, we will program Miimo to your custom needs, including Miimo’s mowing schedule, cutting height, distance to cut from the edge of your lawn and synchronisation between the mower and your Bluetooth Smartphone App.
5. Testing and Training
Finally, we will test Miimo to ensure everything is working right. We will also review Miimo safety and basic operation with you, so you are comfortable and confident with your Miimo.
Any questions about the mower, settings or layout will be answered. Although we are always at the end of the phone if you need help.
