Fortress Dusk to Dawn Bollard Light (Photocell) – Green or Black

This professional and robust illuminated bollard with photocell has a fortress head and a matte garden green or graphite black finish. 4 different heights are available (400mm, 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm) – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also 3 styles of head to choose from, ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.

The inbuilt photocell dusk to dawn sensor automatically turns the bollard light on when it detects dark (dusk) and off again when it detects light (dawn). This means there is no need to remember to switch the fitting on and off manually, and will generally result in less product maintenance. Fitted with an E27 LED (available from Lumena), this photocell bollard is an ideal and effective way to reduce energy bills yet add security.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

This Fortress Bollard Light is designed to guard and protect the internal UV-stop polycarbonate lens and lamp from damage and vandalism with 6 robust aluminium louvres surrounding the area. This makes it perfect for use in commercial and higher risk areas where damage is more likely to occur, such as gravel drives, public places and areas where garden machinery may be used.

How Far Apart Should Bollards Be Mounted?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
