Ledifice Commercial Dusk to Dawn Led Bollard Light (Surface Mounted) Green or Black

The ‘LEDifice’ is a professional and robust commercial bollard with a specially designed taller head in order to accommodate high output LED bulbs. This makes it perfect for installations where a high level of light is required and ideal as amenity lighting for larger, commercial or public areas such as car parks or buildings. Platts Horticulture recommend the 20W LED Corn Bulb for optimum brightness (sold separately).

The inbuilt photocell dusk to dawn sensor automatically turns the bollard light on when it detects dark (dusk) and off again when it detects light (dawn). This means there is no need to remember to switch the fitting on and off manually, and will generally result in less product maintenance. Fitted with an E27 bulb holder, this photocell bollard is an ideal and effective way to reduce energy bills and add security.

The clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head, enables an even all-round light dispersal and adds protection to the bulb installed. Further internal protection is added by silver aluminium louvres which act as anti-glare shields. The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

In a matte garden green or graphite black finish, a choice of height is available (400mm, 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm) – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel. This results in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

Each bollard is supplied complete with a removable internal mounting base as standard, which can be attached to expanding anchor bolts, root mounting J-Bolts, or mounted onto any flat surface. Alternatively, a Professional Root Mounting System is available consisting of a longer tube that mounts 400mm in to the ground.

How Far Apart Should Bollards Be Mounted?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:

• 20W LED Corn Bulb (DAYLIGHT WHITE)  –  6m to 8m apart
• 20W LED Corn Bulb WARM WHITE)  –  5m to 7m apart
