Lighthouse Dusk to Dawn Bollard Light (Photocell) – Professional Root Mount System – Green or Black

This professional and robust illuminated bollard with photocell has a ‘Lighthouse’ style head and a matt garden green or graphite black finish. 3 different heights are available (600mm, 800mm or 1000mm) – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also three styles of head to choose from, Flat, ‘domed’ or ‘pillar’ top

The inbuilt photocell dusk to dawn sensor automatically turns the bollard light on when it detects dark (dusk) and off again when it detects light (dawn). This means there is no need to remember to switch the fitting on and off manually, and will generally result in less product maintenance. Fitted with an E27 LED (available from Lumena), this photocell bollard is an ideal and effective way to reduce energy bills yet add security and safety.

This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is recommended for where extra security and permanence is important. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, these root mount bollards are extended in length so that at least 400mm can be securely concreted in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

The Lighthouse Bollard Light has a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head which enables an even all-round light dispersal around the bollard and adds protection to the bulb installed. Further protection is added internally by silver aluminium louvres which also add character to the bollard and act as anti-glare shields.

How Far Apart Should Bollards Be Mounted?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is bEing lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
