Parabola Bollard Light – Professional Root Mount System – Green Or Black

This robust and vandal resistant commercial bollard has a double ‘Parabolic Reflector’ head and a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser. The louvres and diffuser enable an even, downwards light dispersal around the bollard and add protection to the bulb. The light effect is one of a low-level glowing post, marking the way.

This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is recommended for where extra security and permanence is important. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, these root mount bollards are extended in length so that at least 400mm can be securely concreted in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

A matte garden green or graphite black finish is available as well as a choice of height (600mm, 800mm or 1000mm). Ideal for driveways and paths, there are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium, and all screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

How Far Apart Should Bollards Be Mounted?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs used have, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project based on one of our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
